Our Senior Investment Associate Irene Uy represented the seller in the sale of the property as well as represented the buyer in securing acquisition financing to close the deal. We successfully navigated the tumultuous market even as retail properties have been particularly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. We secured loan proceeds that were committed prior to the pandemic despite uncertainties in property appraisals. Maintaining banking relationships and effective communication with all parties involved was key in closing this deal.
